Candidates endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America have stated their beliefs publicly, for years, at length. Locating those primary documents, archiving them, checking them twice, and putting them in front of voters with the citation on screen — that is the entire budget.

We do not run anything we cannot source. That standard is expensive. It means research hours before production hours, legal review before distribution, and a correction process that stays open after a piece is live.

It also means precision about who said what. A candidate's own words are sourced to the candidate. A DSA plank is sourced to DSA and attributed to no individual. Keeping those apart takes real work, and it is the reason our material holds up.
